THIS IS US....

Tiffany Neuharth, LADC CPRSR
Founder, Executive Director
I’m a person who has been passionate about recovery since I first entered it at the age of 18. There have been a lot of twists, turns, bumps, and a multitude of pathways along my journey; ultimately culminating in the incredibly blessed life, I live today. I’m a living testimony of God using all things for the good, even the parts of my past that seemed beyond redemption. Some of my greatest joy comes from giving back to others out of the wellspring of gifts that recovery has bestowed upon me. Besides all things recovery, I love spending time with my family, CrossFit, playing with our two Corgis, hiking, camping, biking, cooking, reading my Bible, praying, and having deep, meaningful conversations with just about anyone. My life today is more than I imagined was possible, and it just keeps getting better.

JoEllen Joa, CPRS
Community Center CPRS, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
Hi!, You can call me Jo! I'm a wife, a mom, and a grandma. Like most, our family has substance abuse issues, and I was excited to meet Tiffany and begin working at Rise Up Recovery in mid-February at the front desk. I greet visitors, answer phones, do miscellaneous office duties, and planted and tended our Hope Garden. It's a symbol of our participants, with their different personalities and needs. Our prayers and hope care for them. On the first day here, I decided I wanted to become a PRS so I could better understand and help those we come in contact with. It has been a fantastic learning and growing experience and I love it here. I feel it was God-directed and I'm so grateful for each day and the variety, joy and challenges it brings.

Community Outreach & Development Coordinator
Hi, my name is Kathy; I feel incredibly blessed as the wife of Jim and the mother of seven amazing children, comprising two stepchildren, three biological kids, and two adopted ones. With the joy of having ten grandchildren, my heart is full.
Through the challenges of raising two adopted children born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and other diagnoses, I have gained a deep understanding of the struggles that accompany addiction and mental health issues. This experience has made me empathetic towards those facing similar hurdles.
Around a year and a half ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany, and I became captivated by the peer recovery community she introduced me to. Rise Up Recovery's philosophy and the profound impact they've made on people's lives are beyond measure, illustrating the profound significance of care and personal responsibility with recovery.
The exceptional dedication and compassion shown by the staff at Rise Up Recovery have left an indelible impression on me. It is with immense pride that I have joined their team, eager to participate in and contribute to their noble mission.
