As we step into November—a month traditionally marked by thankfulness—we pause to reflect on just how much we have to be grateful for. This year is especially meaningful, as it marks five years of Rise Up Recovery walking alongside individuals and families as they reclaim their lives from the grip of substance use disorder. Just one day ago, we gathered as a community for our 5th Annual Banquet. While pictures are still coming in, our hearts are full. The love, encouragement, and generosity poured out by all who attended, sponsored, served, and celebrated with us was overwhelming in the best way. Your continued support—whether through sponsorship, volunteer time, prayer, or showing up in person—fuels the mission. Every night slept in a safe place in one of our recovery homes, every life touched through peer support, every brave step taken by someone in early recovery has been made possible because of your belief in what we do. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1
Grateful for the Journey In these five years, we have witnessed countless lives redeemed:
Our work is rooted in the belief that no one is too far gone for grace, and that healing is not only possible—it’s probable when people are met with dignity, support, and hope.
Looking Ahead with Hope While November is a time to reflect, it's also a time to recommit. We are more determined than ever to keep showing up—to create spaces where recovery can flourish, to support the youth who are seeking a different path, and to equip a community to walk this journey together. As we head into the holiday season, we know this time of year can be both beautiful and difficult. But we move forward together, with gratitude and hope in our hearts. “Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” — Colossians 2:7
From all of us at Rise Up Recovery, thank you for walking with us these past five years. Your support has truly helped redeem lives and restore dignity. May your November be filled with many laughs, full bellies, and grateful hearts. With thankful hearts, The Rise Up Recovery Team Redeeming Lives; Restoring Dignity. |
