A Year of Jubilee and Renewal

As we step into 2025, we at Rise Up Recovery are embracing this year as a Year of Jubilee—a time of restoration, renewal, and rejoicing. In biblical tradition, the Year of Jubilee was marked by the release of burdens, the cancellation of debts, and the return of freedom. It was a time for God’s people to rest, celebrate His provision, and restore what had been broken. This sacred concept aligns perfectly with our mission of helping individuals rise up from the weight of substance use disorder into lives of freedom, dignity, and purpose. Just as the Jubilee year declared a fresh start, we look forward to this new year as a season of transformation, not just for individuals in recovery but for our organization and the communities we serve.

2025 holds great promise for Rise Up Recovery as we continue expanding our programs and services. This year, we aim to deepen our impact by:

• Expanding Housing Opportunities: We are committed to strengthening partnerships with exceptional recovery residences across the state. As we reflect on the impactful relationships we’ve established with residences such as Inner Wellness Recovery Homes and The Lion House, we are excited about the new collaborations on the horizon. Additionally, we are strengthening our programming at Hope House and Providence House, providing more individuals and families with a safe, supportive environment to rebuild their lives and pursue lasting recovery.

• Strengthening Peer Support Programs: Peer recovery services will continue to grow, providing vital connections and encouragement for those on their recovery journey.

• Advancing Training Initiatives: Through cutting-edge technology and comprehensive training, we will equip a new wave of peer recovery specialists to serve their communities with compassion and excellence.

• Empowering Families: Our family-focused programs will prioritize healing and education, helping loved ones reconnect and thrive together.

  
  

The Year of Jubilee is also a time of celebration. As we reflect on the lives redeemed in 2024, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness and the countless stories of transformation we’ve witnessed. We celebrate the individuals who have risen from despair to hope, and the community members, volunteers, and supporters who make this work possible.

In 2025, we are proclaiming freedom and favor over every individual, family, and community we serve. We believe this will be a year of groundbreaking breakthroughs, lasting recovery, and deepened connections with God, community, and self.
