“I Can See It, Can You?

In the vibrant tapestry of our recovery community, there's a shared vision that binds us together, illuminating the path toward healing and growth. "I can see it, can you?" echoes through the halls of support groups, whispered in moments of doubt and proclaimed in triumph. It's a rallying cry, a reminder that within each of us lies the potential for transformation, for reclaiming the life we were meant to live – for a restoration from that which was lost.

In the warm embrace of understanding people who have also walked the journey, those experiencing recovery find solace in the journey – a together journey. Rise Up Recovery is known as the search and rescue crew. What does that mean?   Through the highs and lows of lived experiences, the setbacks, and breakthroughs, we at Rise Up hold onto the belief that recovery is not just a destination, even when it seems as if some are camped out in that desolation and wilderness searching for a way out in an endless cycle of trauma, abuse, and self-harm.

Recovery is a continuous unfolding of possibilities. "I can see it, can you?" is more than a question—it's an invitation to envision a future free from the shackles of addiction, to embrace the beauty of sobriety, and to empower one another as we navigate the complexities of rebuilding our lives. So, how can someone camped out in desolation see the possibilities?

In the community of Rise Up Recovery, we are fueled by hope and fueled by each other; the answer resounds with unwavering conviction: yes, we can see it, and together, we will make it our reality. You see when the one helping me has been through it and found their way to freedom and demonstrates the "I can see it," then we can ask the question – "Can You?"

In our shared journey towards recovery at Rise Up, the phrase "I can see it, can you?" is the beacon of hope, guiding us through moments of uncertainty and reminding us of the strength we possess as individuals and as a collective. It speaks to the power of envisioning a life beyond addiction, where every step forward is a testament to our resilience and determination. Together, we, with shared experiences, cultivate a space of acceptance and encouragement, where honesty and vulnerability are celebrated and where each small victory is cherished as a triumph over adversity.

As we at Rise Up Recovery continue to walk this path hand in hand, the vision of a brighter tomorrow grows ever clearer, fueled by the unwavering support of our community and the unwavering belief in our ability to overcome. "I can see it, can you?" Yes, we can see it, and together, we will reach it one day at a time.

Isaiah 41:10 New Living Translation

Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my righteous right hand.
